About the workshop
ELCFX and The Diorama Builder are the same crew working under two names — a small studio of makers, sculptors, and tinkerers.
Eugene Le Clercq
Founder — ELCFX
Comes from the past — 1971, the best years ever, when everything was still made by hand. Grew up with horror films and sci-fi; building characters and props was a passion long before it was a job. What started as special make-up for events and films grew into full-time work for collectors, productions and anyone with a wild idea.
Mark Springer
Electronics, Animatronics & Robotics
39 years old, and at home in anything electronic. Animatronics and robotics are his main skills — he likes tinkering with anything big or small to make something special and fun. Whatever the team can dream up, Mark can usually make it move.
Joey Brouwer
Prop & Diorama Builder
Born in 2000, grew up on Pokémon and every nerd staple in between. Always wanted to work with his hands, and found his place building movie props and dioramas for collectors and productions — still growing his skillset every project.
Sherida Jager
Cosplay & Costuming
23 years old, cosplayer and sewing enthusiast. Works to make high-quality cosplay more accessible through better fabrics and materials — from custom designs to basic outfits, always open to look into the options.
Duncan Jong
Cosplay, 3D Sculpting & Statues — Super Forge Studios
Known to most as Joker's Knives Cosplay, and one of four members of Super Forge Studios. Focuses on cosplay, 3D sculpting, statues and props, with 10+ years on the convention circuit — fanbooths, wigs, props and hosting included.
